The National Coastal Tourism Academy has secured an outstanding opportunity for hotels, restaurants and attractions in Dorset. Alastair MacGregor from TripAdvisor will be visiting Bournemouth next week, and will spend two hours talking to tourism representatives as part of a FREE seminar on Friday 7 February at 2pm at The Hermitage Hotel, Bournemouth.

Samantha Richardson, National Coastal Tourism Academy director, commented: “TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel website and influences the travel buying decisions of millions of potential customers.

“Holiday-makers invest enormous amounts of time into researching potential holidays with online platforms the biggest source of travel information.

“TripAdvisor has huge global influence, this event presents a superb opportunity for visitor-facing businesses in Bournemouth to hear first-hand from a major world player and to gain an insight into how to manage their on-line reputation more effectively. This event is too good an opportunity to miss.”

The seminar is designed to focus attention on good service and how to manage your company’s reputation online. Alastair MacGregor, TripAdvisor’s Territory Manager Business Listings UK, will be joined by author and columnist Caroline Cooper, together they will examine ways to ensure customer’s expectations are surpassed and how a hard won reputation reaches potential visitors.
