September Update
"Whilst the national mood remains rightly sombre in today’s ever-changing landscape, there’s no doubt there is still plenty of bottled-up desire to escape the crowds, get back to nature and discover new local experiences. And the sentiment trackers suggest people want to do that soon.
So, we’re delighted to be launching a major new promotional campaign to encourage domestic visitors to England’s Coast off-season as part of VisitEngland’s Discover England Fund. Over the next few months we’ll be turning the spotlight on coastal walks and cycle tracks, cosy B&Bs, self-catering and pubs, encouraging locals and those further afield to look at the coast differently in the winter and escape for some well-earned vitamin sea!
We’ll be offering recommendations for off-the-beaten path activities to reassure visitors, providing information on open and welcoming “Good to Go” businesses, socially-distanced and open-air experiences.
Glowing Autumn seascapes, treat yourself Christmas feasts, step into Spring – our content will be inspirational for a new audience considering a last-minute coastal escape off-peak."
