NCTA on BBC Breakfast!

We’re looking forward to appearing on BBC Breakfast on Monday 4 September, part of a Coastal Britain series the programme is launching.

We’ll be talking about our latest research, the current state of coastal tourism, the wider challenges facing destinations and businesses and how these can be addressed.

We hope particularly to highlight the appeal of the coast year-round, to encourage visits in the off-peak months and shine a spotlight on the huge diversity of our coastline, from our family-friendly seaside resorts and ports to quieter coastal villages and hamlets.

It’s great to be part of a campaign drawing attention to tourism. After a summer of mixed weather, let’s hope a prime-time media focus will encourage bookings in Autumn from an entirely new group of visitors to the coast.
