We have two brand new visitor segment toolkits for businesses in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area for 2024.

Nature and Culture has been defined as a visitor segment potentially interested in visiting the BCP area as a result of research carried out by BAHA in spring 2023.

The people who make up this group are generally practical and down to earth. They are nature lovers and are therefore concerned about the environment. They are also interested in culture and tend to take an interest in history, politics and economics. They tend to plan their holidays well in advance and are more interested in the location and the attractions on offer than in where they are actually staying.

Active and Mindful has been defined as a visitor segment potentially interested in visiting the BCP area as a result of research carried out by BAHA in spring 2023.

This important group are generally well travelled, sociable, physically active and are up for a challenge. They are concerned about the environment and enjoy new experiences. They are interested in holidays which deliver a combination of physical, mental and social stimulation as well as relaxation, so a diverse offer is likely to appeal.
