Beside the Seaside – connecting the past with the future
On the 24th April 2017 Academy Director, Samantha Richardson, was the keynote speaker for the Seaside Heritage Network’s conference, “Beside the Seaside”. The conference held at Scarborough Spa explored key themes relating to seaside heritage, an important part of our cultural heritage.
The Seaside Heritage Network was established in 2015 and aims to promote the value of seaside heritage, as well as explore and support research, the development of museum collections and knowledge sharing. To find out more about the network visit www.seasideheritage.org
